Aug/Sep/Oct Applicants Waiting for PPR

Hi all,

I just received below mail from CPC Ottawa.
I have mentioned to a call center agent couple of weeks back about my wife's pregnancy, this could be the reason why i received this email.
we have our bay due on 15-sep which means I have to wait until my baby comes out for my PR application to proceed further.
Meanwhile my BOWP and SOWP expires on 17-Oct-2016. I should start filling application to apply for BOWP again.

"Dear XXXX,

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. After reviewing the information you provided in your application, it appears that you will have a newborn in September, 2016. We request the following document after your baby is born.

Ø myUCI - MYNAME:
Ø Birth registration/certificate: a photocopy of the Birth Certificate of newborn This must be received at this office by: 2016/10/16


You must send us the requested information by email within 30 days from the date of this letter.

Please reply directly to this email and put your application number in the title "

Well last week EE and CEC old applicants got it on Wednesday. Any day is good for me lol...

Hi everyone!! I just received a call from unknown number and the guy said he is from immigration office. He was asking about my previous job that I used for my immigration. The guy didn't confirmed my file no or date of birth , as I asked him about there is no caller id , he said he can tell me the email, and he spoke my personal email, which is in my application but I have my lawyer that uses his own email for my pr application all the time. I have just dosconnect the call halfway as the guy was asking about my job.
I am worrying too much, as my madicals are already done and I am waiting for passport request and this time why thy called me.
Please please help me out from this condition. Please share your experience if you guys have the same kind of experience. Thanks

That's really strange CIC called you. Only heard of 1 other case where they called to cofirm an address.

Yes Sir..Please go ahead with BOWP and SOWP. Its a simple online process but will give you one more year of open work permit.

It could be one of those fraud calls

I recieved a call from this one guy a day and the call ID was 911. He asked me when was the last time I heard from CIC. That was the day I had recieved medicals. I said just an hour ago.

He then said that I have failed to declare XYZ in my immigration and they have recieved orders to deport me back to my home country. That scared the shit of me. He asked me to wait wherever I am and his officers will come and escort me to the airport right then.
