Hi everyone , I would really like to ask you about seeking asylum while on transit at the Canadian airport. Is it really possible or legal to seek asylum while on transit ? , I tried to check it on the CIC website whether it's legal or not, But unfortunately i couldn't find any clue , Any help would be appreciated it.

Yes - it's certainly possible and legal to claim asylum during transit.

In order to transit through Canada you must obtain a TRV (visitor visa) in advance of traveling.

It's more or less the same thing. In both cases you have to apply for a TRV. Select the 'transit' option if you are transiting through Canada.
