Asylum and refuge claim at airport

Hello my fellow members.
My life and dose of my family is at risk in my home country. I was told by an agent that with an ETA visa i can move to Canada but my country is ETA visa is not eligible to cross the immigration officers at the airport in Canada. Due to the insecurity in my country i and my family is eligible to seek asylum at the airport.
I can't travel with any documents to show risk we are facing, because they might be taken at my home airport. I will just have videos in my phone to show at the immigration officers.
Please how far will it help me and my family? Can they reject our claims and sent us back?
Please help with advice

No it will be very difficult to get it for me and my family, but we can get an ETA, giving us the possibility to book a flight to canada then srrk for protection at the airport

How are you going to get an ETA? You hold a passport from Cameroon based on your previous posts. If so, you only qualify for an ETA if you are also US green card holders. If you do not have a US green card, then you must obtain a TRV to come to Canada. The airline will not let you board the plane to Canada without an approved TRV.

Note there are many agents giving out fake ETAs. The airlines will verify your ETA is real before letting you on an airplane. So a fake ETA isn't going to help you.

Thanks for the information, if i verify the status of the ETA online if it is approved by the Canadian government and it shows approve.. Can it be fake?

Yes - it can still be fake. Again, if you hold a passport only from Cameroon and don't have a US green card, then it is impossible for you to get a real ETA. You MUST get a TRV if you want to be able to board an airplane to Canada.
