I was wondering if anyone would be able to assist me.
I have family in Nicaragua that would like to immigrate to Canada under assilum category.
How can they ask for it when they come to Canada? Do they ask for that when they arrive at the airport? Can anyone help me out?

If they can get to Canada, they ask at immigration control in the airport or at the land border.

They would first need an approved TRV/tourist visa, just to get to Canada in the first place.

There is no way to apply for refugee/asylum directly to Canada if you are currently outside Canada.
