Hi Asivad,

3 years ago, I have arrested by police and I hired a lawyer for this issue. In the Court final Deposition day, I got the stay of proceeding with not guilty and not conviction. My lawyer told me that there would be no crime record for me. On Jan/25, I got the RCMP REQUEST from CIC and I ordered same day,at that time,i still didn't know that i have a reocrd, but almost 1 month passed I still didn't get the RCMP report and I was been told that if there is a record the processing time will be more than 120 days. Today,I just browse the local police statation Website, it states that we need to send the request to destruct the record like fingerprints and photo in a non-conviction case. I heared that someone have a crime record with conviction got the RCMP report in 8 months... CIC gives me a deadline which is March/25,2016. I think I can not get the RCMP report that time. Before or near deadline, I will upload the invoice which I order the RCMP report on Jan/25 and an LOE, ask for the extention time for submiting the RCMP report. I was also thinking to submit the Certificated True Copy of Provinvial Court of proceedings and Endorsemnt fo information letter, do i need to? and will it be useful? Another thing is that if i get an extention time for submiting RCMP report and will CIC wait until i got the RCMP REPORT or I will give me a REJECTION.

Another question is that RCMP firngerprints processing office is in Ottawa. I was thinking bring the Court record for proceedings with me to visit them in person and ask them to process my application faster due to my special case. If anyone have experience on this, please kindly advice.

Thanks in advance. :-[ :-[ :-[

I don't think they'll reject you if you've done everything you could to obtain the RCMP papers - their processing time is beyond your control. The fact that you applied for RCMP cert. the same day you got the request from IRCC is very good.
They give extensions for FBI PCCs all the time, so I think you should be ok.
Don't know anything about your other questions, sorry.

yes send a CSE for extension and attach your receipts with a reason.

also ask that lawyer to help you to get rcmp asap.

as he dealed with your case so he must know how to remove your records or how to get rcmp faster.

Did cic extend your deadline? How did you request an extention. My husband and I are kind of in the same boat. he currently has a 6 month peace bond which will expire end of august. He's applying for perminant residency and I am sponsoring him. He was staying with me in canada waiting on his applications. he got drunk one night and we got in a fight which resulted in me calling the cops. He never assulted me but was charged with assult because I stupidly mentioned that he was falling over drunk and grabbed onto my hair and he was falling as a description of his stupid drunken behavior. His charged were dismissed and he got a 6 month peace bond. Now cic is requesting an rcmp check and want it by the end of august. They requested on July 25th. The same day we Contacted an accredited fingerprint company in canada who emailed him instrunction on getting his fingerprints in uk and sending them to the company to digitize and forward to rcmp. The police in scotland wouldn't do rolled fingerprints so now he needs to wait 2 weeks to get a copy of their digitized prints to send to get re digitized -_-

Long story short, even if he didn't have a match, which he will, we do not have enough time to get his rcmp check.
Do we need to mail a letter with proof of receipts to show he's making an effort to get it asap along with explanation. If so where do we mail such a letter and will that be enough? Or can we upload a letter and receipts to his cic account online, where they sent us the request and ask us for an upload of the rcmp check.

Thanks
Katie
