I just read my email and it says 90 days after they receive your passport or photocopy of it depending if your in Canada already or not.
Hi @cmp13 - which email are you talking about? BTW - my spouse is in India. Passport couriered to New Delhi.

Will it be safe to book my spouse ticket to Canada for month of April now before receiving the stamped passport? We sent the passport almost a month back hoping that it will come back stamped in 10 days but nothing yet so confused whether I should risk it booking the ticket or wait for the stamped passport/ COPR?

We received the passport request not via a letter, but via a direct email to me from Manila VO. Since our family is all in Canada already (applicant visa exempt country) we can track our passport going and returning to us thru Canada post. Its a bit different if you submitted your passport request to a VAC office. Goodluck!

its probably worth it since its a couple months away you can save something on the plane ticket. Just pay travel insurance incase you need to rebook for some reason. All the best!
