Do we have to take our tax returns with us while going for the Citizenship test and Interview? One more thing I don't have my original Ielts with me because i submitted the original while filing my PR application back in 2014. So can i just take the photocopy with me.

Please advise.
Thank you.

I didn't mention about my business while filling the application form. I just mentioned about my employment history. Assuming business doesn't comes under employment. Will this be a problem. Will they ask me anything about this. I'm taking all the paper work related to my business with me.

Does this comes under Misrepresentation. I don't think so because I didn't gave them any false information its just that I didn't mention about my business.

Please advise as I have a Citizenship test and Interview on 10th March Scarborough IRCC

I purchased the subscription. But it was worth it since I purchased it last year for my citizenship test and my wife was able to use the same this year. Both myself and my spouse scored 20 on the tests.
Can you please advise what is the name of the test material you guys used to prepare ?

They don't care about tax. They are IRCC not CRA. They have access to your tax records as you would have given permission in your application form for this. Do not take tax forms with you, photocopy of ielts will be fine, mostly they do not ask to see it.

Business comes under self-employment. If they haven't asked you for additional information already then everything should be ok. Good luck

I have a very similar timeline, and am still waiting as well. I applied from Mississauga and my processing center is Scarborough.

Wonder if anyone was in this situation.....
Our oath was set on Jan 29 th, on the 28 th I was hospitalized and obviously couldn’t make the oath.
My son had to call the instances in my name and apparently it wasn’t a big deal , they just had to re schedule us.
I called a couple of days ago and they told me they just had to wait until anything came up, in other words....they need to squeeze us in somewhere else.
It’s been more than a month now , wonder how hard it is to “squeeze” 2 people in , this shouldn’t be rocket science.
Is this normal and is this just the slow turning wheel of bureaucracy? anyone else ?

Been reviewing the group and seems like our scenario is slightly off trend for applications in Scarborough Centre.

Wife and I applied as per the following timeline (family application):
  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 1, 2019.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 12, 2019.
  3. We started processing your application on June 28, 2019.
My wife subsequently received a fingerprint request in July which was sent through RMCP the next week.

Is there anything missing from our end? Looking at the majority trend from Scarborough for applications sent in April, should have received an invite for test at least by now.

Thanks in advance for your insights.

No worries. I am on the same boat - still waiting for my test invite (my processing center is Scarborough too).

I really can't seem to figure out the trend applications are being processed.

Hi Folks,
I received my Oath invitation in Mississauga Yesterday but, I received two emails for the invitation the same day.
The first email says Oath will be on 18 March 2020 at 12:30 pm, while the second email says Oath will be held on 19 March 2020 at 9.00 am. I am little confused which email should I consider?
