Thank u so much!
I called on this number and they gave me information about my file status. They mentioned background evaluation is going on. Whether any mail was sent, how much time will it take, etc information they don't have.
Hi Dimpy
Are you from India? When did you receive the last update on your profile?

Hi Jamestoca,

BOWP is very simple because you don't have to apply for LMIA number. Simply, you apply for open work permit, and attach an explanation letter that you have applied for PR and include your application information and attach your PR's acknowledgement of receipt. However, I definitely believe that you will receive your PR before 2020.

For GCMS notes, read this topic and note that there are some useful figures in page 3
https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/how-to-order-gcms-notes-step-by-step-process.513893/
Well, I've just checked here in my AOR and it says that I would need to apply for BOWP if my WP is about to expire; however, my WP will expire in May, 2020; therefore It should not be a problem. Anyways, I will just be patient and hope for good news soon ! =)

Thank you for send me this link. I'll apply for this GCMS notes ASAP.

Have a good one!!

AoR - 04/04/2019
Med passed - 15/05/2019
Bio - 25/05/2019

no updated afterwards. Let me know if anyone share the same time lines. Also is it usual to take this much time as I understand processing time is fasten up for FSW program.

Hello all,

My timeline for my FSW outland application -

ITA -
AoR - 04/18/2019
Med passed - 05/29/2019
Biometrics - 06/14/2019

There was only one visible ghost update as on 05/30/2019 as I received an email. No updates after biometrics. Still waiting on something to happen as the timeline shows just 39 days to go.

Sorry didn't get your query, but if you are asking if this number is applicable to FSW-O applicants, the answer is this can be used by anyone residing outside Canada ( and probably US).
Sorry. I meant to ask that are you FSW-O?

Hello guys,
I’m inland applicant and June 25 I submitted my BOWP, my work permit now already expired. Today my supervisor asked me my new work permit and sin number to do my payments. What should I do? Because now I am still waiting for my BOWP .

First go on CIC website and print the information that states once you applied before current permit expires you can work you can continue to work
Secondly print the application from your profile and you payment receipt as proof . that should work. A lot of employers have no idea of immigration rules.

I called IRCC office today for a status update and was told that our PR application is approved and that we need to wait a few more days until we get a formal notification.

Time line:
AOR: April 17th
MEP: May 30th

I'm the primary applicant and listed my wife who is currently in Canada on a SOWP as my dependent.

Thought I'd share :)
