Hello everyone I got passport request on mycic account
But they added an upload a file option there to send my passport copy
Im confused how they going to stamp my visa
Please help,

went to my mp today and talked to someone working for him.. she said she contacted them and im in the interview list and it can take months until they schedule an interview we would just have to wait until they contact us.. great :'(

Hopefully not that long. They say long times as a measure so you don't bother them. Hold in there.

Ecas still says in process, but MyCIC updated this morning (22/11 Aus time so 21/11 canada time) to say this:

Application/profile status Closed
Review of eligibility Passed
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents
Scheduling an interview
A background check is needed Complete
Final decision This application has been approved

Attached to the MyCIC update was a letter stating my CoPR has been issued. Is this something I will be mailed? Letter also stated that I should receive IMM5785 and IMM5688. I know 5688 is the CoPR. Whats the other one?

I wasn't asked to send any passport/immigration photos or a photocopy of my passport, which is normal of London. Should I expect this or just wait for the CoPR now?

Otherwise all done! I'll be landing in Canada next April sometime. I'll be sticking around here to keep the spreadsheet up to date.

I highly recommend you to visit your spouse or even apply for a TRV. I'm going to see my wife in 8 days. We sent our outland spousal application in April 2016 with the checklist included, all forms filled out and signed by both me and my wife. It's been 8 months, and still we did not hear any news from our VO or even requesting additional docs if they ever needed them. So, I decided to visit my wife again. I was there last march (2016), and im going back again. We will be spending the month of December together. Im so happy! When I come back, I will send them passport stamps, hotel receipts, pictures of us, and other activity receipts. I'll order my notes when i come back, GOD I hope to see a "passed" for our eligibility. Im not sure what more i can do to prove our marriage is genuine.


Again if you can, go and visit your spouse. It helps. In fact, they may even waive the interview.

if your wife didnt apply with the use of representative , then check the forms you submitted very carefully and make sure that you didnt include Use Of Representative form. if you do; remove it.

other wise, i would advice you just repack the application , make sure everything is in order and resend it.

I received PPR Oct. 18. Sent my passport via vfs Oman to VO ABu DHabi and received on 23rd of Oct. As of today, i have't received my passport back from VO Abu Dhabi.

So weird that they also asked me to upload a scan copy of my passport on my cic link.

Any idea how long does it take for passport's to be returned?

Feeling really anxious right now. I have travel plans this Dec...

I've seen the same. My passport is with VO Abu dhabi. DUnno what this is for but i submitted anyway.

I'm still waiting for my passport back. It's over 3 weeks already. >.<

i have gone many times i was there this summer for 2 months i sent them copies of my tickets that i bought before sending in our paper work i will be going back in january i was hoping he would come here before so i dont have to spend so much money to go there but rather on his arrival here and getting settled here.. i hope i hear something before i leave or even while im there so we can come back together

Its written in the letter if u crosses 4th week without passport contct that enquiry email address that is given in ur letter..
