Hi everyone!

I have received an email from the Manila Immigration office about free pre-arrival services twice already. Our background check changed to In progress last October 19 so it's almost been a month. No PPR yet, thus far but I'm curious... Has anyone experienced the same thing as us? Idk why they keep sending me the pre-arrival services email...

w00sh! I too just had my application approved today on the CIC site. The long wait is finally over, except of course, the need to do flagpoling.

What I'm confused about though is that they said they'd give me the COPR (IMM5292 or IMM5688), but I haven't received such forms.
I've just received two PDF files telling me about information, rules, etc. Is this something that will come later, be sent in the mail, or other??
Hope anyone can clarify :/.

Congrats!!

You'll get a letter sent to your mailing address. Mine came 4 days after approval, but others take longer so just wait and then you can go to the border. Until then though, start preparing your customs declarations so youre all ready to go!

What is in PDFs Passport request if not
They Will send you Passport request, and after that they will send you COPR with visa stamp on your passport

they ask for my personal history details (updated schedule A). my visa office is MVO. sorry forgot to wrote my visa office. i ordered gcms last nov 21, hoping to receive it before christmas vacation.
did mvo ask u for additional docs, too?

Hm, I got an email today saying something updated on my CIC profile, but I can't find any documents from them. If anything, it says an additional document is required, but I'm not sure if that's from before, as they requested a bunch of docs, or if they want a copy of my passport that many say they are often requested... How lovely it would be if they'd add a little note to these updates, sigh.

Hm, I'm not sure I'll have much to declare, since I can only bring a few things at a time anyway with the flight..
I have my mailing address in Denmark, and I'm currently in Canada, so I guess I'll have to have the COPR sent here . Argh.

Just had it confirmed that my application is approved!! I still havent received anything from CIC but the status changed to DM on Nov 18 and yesterday My CIC shows the file is closed and approved. HKVO. Cant believe how fast the whole process was. Only asked for additional doc once and no interview required.
I hope you all will get approved soon! Good luck!!!!

Congrats! Are you residing in HK? Your application is fast! Please update how long it takes to receive COPR.

Thanks!! I was in Canada while I submit the application. I went back to Hong Kong few months ago as I didnt expect the application would be done in less than 10 months. I will keep you guys posted!

Its likely already sent, so you may not be able to change the address. unless they want a copy of the passport. i didnt need to send them anything weirdly, so not sure.

may 30,started processing pr. app.
medical results have been recieved
sept.22,2016 asked for additional doc.
sept 29,2016 sent doc.

pero until now ,wala pa rin new update .sana pr na soon .
