well, if you can get it, this was told by my MP assistance; it's extremely hard to get TRV after you have a pending PR application.

It's rumored that they send SAs out in batches every 2 weeks. If this is even true, it's not very strictly followed.

We know they are at least looking at April applications - the only good thing we got from our phone call from the officer dealing with out case. I'd expect a fair few SA's this week. We aren't even at the top of the spreadsheet and they phoned with some questions :)

They've been looking at mine for 2 days shy of a month now. I don't mean to be a pessimist, but I don't think it means much. It baffles me how they can have applications open for weeks at a time still being processed.

Hopefully we'll see some SAs soon. I think this is the quietest Tuesday and Wednesday I've seen from Mississauga.

Oh I had the officer who's processing our phone up and double check a date we put down. She told us the common law date needed to be the move in date not 12 mo this from that!! But I'm sure they are actually reading through our Sponsor forms

I hope mine is in the same batch as yours since we applied the same day ;D. I'm 49 days into the process and I'm already anxious and frustrated. I can't wait for this process to be done with.

Yeah, I saw a post by you about that. It's really strange.

My case should be processed by HKVO, reading the HK timeline... I got to know that this VO requires PA to update their form 5669 with information from 18 years old (instead of last 10 years) for employment and address history. [Yes, the form only asks for 18 years old or past 10 years whichever is the most recent. Not sure why they don't update the form or says in the country specific instructions but that's what it is.]

In this case, you think I should send the updated form now (before SA) or after SA? Upload via case specific inquiry? If so, should the updated form be signed, scanned and upload as jpeg file?
Hi wyho007, we applied nearly at the same time and it also seems that my case would go to HKVO. Can you share where you got the info regarding the update of form 5669 to cover info since age 18? Also it indicates on your profile that further info was requested, were you contacted by CIC-M?

Sure it will be. Fingers crossed for you!

Good to know someone who's going to be processed at HKVO at the same time!

Re form 5669, I read that on the Hong Kong timeline. You should also subscribe to that thread if you haven't already done so, as that's HKVO specific. Everyone there agree it's a super strange request (as that's not what the form asks) but that's what HKVO asks for and we can only comply! There was someone who never receive that request but only to find out it's necessary in the GMCS notes 3 months later, hence, a 3 month delay!

I read the general spreadsheet that not ALL applicants get additional document requests though or not all people enter the details, I don't know.

The further tests requested was by the panel physicians, not CIC-M.

They do send in batches, don't know about the 2 week time period.

My GCMS notes said "Sponsor Approval sent by batch email"

Yeah, the batches would make sense. Every 2 weeks seems like a good rough estimate, but at least from the spreadsheets it's just that, rough.
