I don't think it's good idea to make spreadsheet public, so that anyone can edit. I can grant permission to specific people, So that we would know, who had access to modify the sheet.

I guess it will take 10 more days for me to get sponsorship approval because cic changed its sponsorship approval time from 28 days to 34 days. Thanks. Keep updating.

One more quick question for everyone here before I officially send this baby off.

Did anyone who is the Sponsor and also the Spouse complete the Schedule A IMM 5669 and Additional Family Information IMM 5406?

I interpret it that I as the Sponsor do not need to complete these but the form and guide says the spouse of principal applicant must complete this form as well for both the IMM 5669 and the IMM 5406.

Any thoughts?

Both the IMM5669 and IMM5406 are to be filled and signed by the Principal Applicant (the person being sponsored) . The sponsor does not need to complete these separately. You can also refer to Document Checklist. Cheers.

I hadn't filled them out, only the applicant (hubby) but on the forms it does say that each family member including the spouse must complete a separate one as well. I understand it that I as the sponsor do not have to complete them even though I am also the spouse so thank you so much for confirming it.

As per my knowledge, their is no email for file received at CIC. AOR is final file receiving, following by SA.

Yeah u r right its taking 34 days by cic nw for approval. My hubby filed my application on 1st April 2014. M expecting my approval by 7th April. Gud luck to ol.

Finished the application just in time. Finally have the final police clearance so we are all ready to mail the application tomorrow.

mine got there on April 2nd so I keep watching the March spreadsheet to see how many of them get AOR / SA..

Then i know when it should be my turn.

a lot of us from March are still waiting.... i think there is a backlog at CIC and they are behind.

Ok I confess...

I am actually going insane watching all the spread sheets from October to track all people who go through my visa office.... I really am unhappy with my job abroad however its what pays the bills for me to stay abroad and not be separated from my wife... So I will keep working until August.... After that If not approved (Beijing seems quite fast so this isn't a pipe dream and I think my application is very simple.3 year living together history, traveled to Canada and Mexico, legally married in China, no previous marriages, no time apart). I could hold out on savings if i needed until Christmas...


Biggest problem is my employer knows I'm leaving (needed the employment letter) so I am a pretty lame duck manager among my peers haha, Sure I still scare my minions (they don't know I'm leaving) but I already feel replaced among the manager group heh..

I know how you feel . Last night i was looking around my home in Canada thinking what would i take back to the U.K if my husband don't get approved . On the other hand my husband is also looking what to discard or to keep just in case he gets approved. So unsettling. His boss also knows he wants to come to Canada so he wasn't given his pay rise so he is pretty p*** off at the moment . I am just hoping that i get approved soon so i can release some anxiety.
