His boss also knows he wants to come to Canada so he wasn't given his pay rise so he is pretty p*** off at the moment

This happened to me, I agreed to a contract raise verbally hand shake yadda yadda, then I went to get married in her hometown over the chinese new year, upon my return my boss told me "uhh listen i know we agreed to that raise but uh, lets be honest your not going to be here long term. the best I can do for you is 25% of what we agreed to"

I was pretty angry, actually pretty furious. In reality however I owe him a great favour; in his cheap shady scheming way to benefit himself he motivated me to agree with him sign only for 6 more months and get off my ass and apply for all this.. I had planned to stay here in for a year and very possibly another year more after that as we had talked about regular raises over 3 year span. He killed all that in my mind when he low balled me after agreeing to the pay raise before my wedding. Now my wife and I will actually start our "forever" life and i wont just be a slave to a big pay check.

I probably will never make as much money as I do in China for quite some time but.. at least i will be free to tell my boss to shove it up his arse and find a new job (Visa's are controled by employers here, i cant just go find a new job with out this one "agreeing".

If I have already received an approval of me sponsoring my husband from Mexico, Can I go and wait the remaining time in Mexico with him?? will that affect our process??

Are you a Canadian Citizen , if so you can go and wait with him and it won't affect your sponsorship.

Yes I am canadian the only thing if they fire me from my job will they not say that I wont be able to support him anymore and deny the whole process??

As well Can my husband do his Medical Exam before they ask for it and send it in?? Cause we did not do his exam yet so I was just wanting to see if that was possible or do we wait
till they ask??

When you get your Sponsorship Approval there will be a note on there saying the applicant has to do his Medical test and send it to the visa office as soon as possible or your application will be delayed or possibly denied. I did the same thing, didn't do the Medical before.

and i regards to my work question?? If i get fired will that affect the process??

To be honest I don't know. I don't think so, since there is no income requirement for spousal sponsorship, but they can still ask how you plan to support him once he gets here so he wont go on welfare.

But dont we need this form first (IMM 1017E before he can do the exam?? or can we get it online somewhere??

i did not need to bring any forms to my medical exam. i brought my passport and of course the check! the doctor needs to enter your exam results into a computer program and print out an "emedical" receipt which will have your information, picture and barcode for CIC. when you make the appointment, confirm with the doctor's office they do this. I have read posts about doctors not being up to date with the system, and not providing this important document at the end of the exam.

The approved doctors have that form
Just tell them you need an appointment for immigration to Canada and they'll set you up.
Call the doctor closest to you and see what you need to do when you book the appointment.

Good luck!

Ok Thank my last question would then be if we already sent out the application and they just informed me on April 23 that I have been approved, and the application has now been sent to Mexico can we still send the medical exam to them or do we now have to wait for them to send us the forms??

you don't need any forms for the medical . The results will be sent via email with you umi number attached to it and immigration will match it up to your file . So best wait for the letter of spousal approval to come through so you have a number that you can give to the Dr. Most upfront medicals are done before sending off the papers so we don't have a UMI number to give them .

Do i have to notify immigration if my work situation changes??

We finally sent our application on Tuesday. It is scheduled for delivery today. Now the nail biting begins

Finally April month gone and best of luck for all the April applicants (Including me).

I updated the spreadsheet with all the applicants details. Only 20 Files so far in April. If i missed anyone's info, Please let me know.

CIC should thank us. they will be able to catch up with their processing time because, they don't have much files to look for April 2014.

Gud Luck and Cheers!!!
