APRIL 2014 OUTLAND APPLICANTS

I'm trying not to panic but...
We signed our papers March 25th when I took them to Mexico. I know they updated the IMM 0008 in November 2013 which was the latest version we had. I just checked now and it looks like they updated the IMM 0008 form in March 2014. GRRRRRR!!!! Well we already mailed out our application so hopefully they still accept the november one. I know I checked at the beginning of March if they updated anything else so they must have updated end of March. If they want us to redo the form I'm sure they will send it back. Doesn't look like they even changed anything grrrrrrr

They changed it March 24th. I did the same thing, went to the U.k to visit my husband and get him to sign some new forms , then got back and saw the change,after i had sent the papers off. I just reprinted the last page where he had to sign and sent it off. I did this because the Generic application IMM0008 HAS TO BE VALIDATED , and no they haven't changed anything on the form , but better to be ready if they want one. By the time my husband signs it and sends it back it would be way over the 30 days they normally request it be sent back by.

Oh i am going to fill out the whole form, just sent the last page for him to sign. Will fill out form and validate it . I guess i could have validated it then sent it off to him .

Yeah, I was noticing that. It has not been updated since April 9 and still says they are processing sponsorship applications received on March 12. Oh well, its a marathon, not a sprint and like you said they will catch up.

I sent my application today via Canada Post Xpost, it is expected to arrive tomorrow... Phewww it was so stressfull, I was shaking when I was leaving the post office... So now I'll wait patiently, pray and hope for the best!

Welcome to the April applications Mrs KOR. I know just how you feel . I was feeling really sick when i posted mine off too. For the next couple of days after i kept questioning myself, then a senior member told me not to worry, they will request anything i have forgotten . They are just now getting SA for March applicants that was received on the 18th of March , so we have some time to wait. My moto now is what will be will be , only way i can cope.

Serious? March 24? Aaaargh! Well hopefully they let this one go because nothing looks different. I will see my husband end of June. So I guess I could reprint it all again and have him sign it at that time and then send it from Mexico. So frustrating. Well fingers crossed!

I still feel sick and nervouse because I put all of our relationship history together and my hisband said it was too much. Just try not to compare yours with other peoples on here. I feel like there was a mistake on one of my forms already oh well. It's in the hands of the CIC now hahaha.

My package has been signed for by the sweet Jamal (at least I hope he is sweet!!) Was signed for yesterday 22nd April. Is this the official date that they received it for updating the form or do we receive an email/notification from someone once it has reached a desk??

My package has been delivered to CIC today according to Canada Post. I required a signature but the Canada Post website does not show the signature. I called Canada Post and they told me that it could have 24 hours to see the signature on their website, should I be worried??

No ! i didn't see who signed for mine until the next day , so don't worry . Jamal signed for mine. I used Canada post too.
