If you have already applied under CEC then better to wait for decision.

Did you receive Medical ?

Do you guys think we should apply for the Express entry, who have LMOs and who are waiting for their MRs? I think it will be processed faster than this.
It will cost another application fees but i guess thas it...
Any suggestions or ideas on this topic?

Hi sjulien,

You sent your PCCs with your application - correct?

I have submitted only home country PCC, not RCMP.

If you are getting more than 600 points in EE then you can go ahead. Anyhow you will get response from CIC on your CEC application. There is nothing to harm to apply for EE. At least you can create profile there.

Great, now I can see a pattern, for those around mid to late April they appear to get PCCs done before MR. My file went for CA at about the same time you got you MR and I did not send PCCs, plus for one country CIC needs to get the PCC.

Anyone else seeing a similar pattern?

sjulien,

I assume that your Eligibility has not started according to your GCMS notes, correct?

I can see below details in my GCMS note.
Eligibility : In Progress
Security : Not Started
Criminality : In progress
Medical : Passed

Eligibility Assessment:
Status : Recommend Passed

What would you like to know apart from this one?

Hi Everyone, I am am an April 2014 CEC applicant and my medical has been done on November 12th. I have made upfront payment for RPRF. Now, I have my marriage on March 27th and I am just thinking that, if I get my PPR request by end of this month (Hoping all April applicants will start geeting RPRF/PPR by that time), I might not be able to send my passport as it takes around 25 days to get the passport back. I have seen the email of PPR for a friend of mine, and there CIC mentioned for any of the status change like intend of getting married ( Do you intend to get married or divorced prior to becoming a permanent resident?) etc, then we must inform CPC-O immediately. Please suggest as I heard that, its better and easier to add dependent before getting PR.

Experts, please suggest.

Thanks,
mantonio.

You have 2 options here.
1. Add your spouse now to your file (once you get married) ---> In this case you would be put on hold, till your spouse passes all the stages, Eligibility, criminality, etc, receives MR, completes MR and then is in same stage as you are in.
2. Get going with your application. Get your PR and then sponsor your spouse as a fresh application later

My advise (in case I was in your shoes) --> would choose option 1.
