There is no harm on applying GCMS notes often. Basically by default due date is 1 year from the date of your application received for most of the applicants and I don't think so this May due date is exact date and your application might get review at any moment when your VO turn comes.

I want to request another GCMS note but should I wait till may? Or do it now...?

Thanks.

Does someone have "In-Progress" as status in ECAS? (showing the line "we started processing your application...").

Although my application is "In Process" and medicals have been received, my eCAS is still showing "Application Received". So I do not know how these labels work and/or what they mean. It also appears that their usage is not consistent.

Certainly ECAS has many bugs and / or inconsistencies. Nonetheless, your application is truly in Process from the time you receive AOR. However, ECAS usually shows "In-Process" when reaching the last stage (Criminality, Security, etc) before issuing PPR or CoPR. I was intrigued whether someone here has the status in ECAS or not, thus there seem to be many of us with meds done, but without having the line "We started processing your application... " which leads to think that we won't have any "surprise" in our emails until we see that line in ECAS for a few days - at least.

Hey Maxmoore i also have the same line "we started processing your application January 30, 2015" no email was sent to us, we only found this out after checking ecas on feb 6. CIC requested updated background information forms for me and my spouse as well as the rprf. We were even sent a demand email for the rprf because we didn't pay it the same time they sent the request for payment. Hope this helps you. Best Wishes

A bit of Laughter ............ to break the boredom!

A priest, a doctor, and an engineer...

A priest, a doctor, and an engineer were waiting one morning for a particularly slow group of golfers. The engineer fumed, "What's with those guys? We must have been waiting for fifteen minutes!"

The doctor chimed in, "I don't know, but I've never seen such inept golf!"

The priest said, "Here comes the green-keeper. Let's have a word with him."

He said, "Hello George, what's wrong with that group ahead of us? They're rather slow, aren't they?"

The green-keeper replied, "Oh, yes. That's a group of blind firemen. They lost their sight saving our clubhouse from a fire last year, so we always let them play for free anytime."

The group fell silent for a moment.

The priest said, "That's so sad. I think I will say a special prayer for them tonight."

The doctor said, "Good idea. I'm going to contact my ophthalmologist colleague and see if there's anything he can do for them."

The engineer said, "Why can't they play at night?"

Yes we applied under fsw after we were nominated by the province. Have a great Day all

I feel people are lucky who receive update on ECAS, my has the same thing as F*U*C*K:

Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on April 3, 2014.

I am an April applicant. I have submitted an upfront medical, RPRF and Biodata.

I checked my ECAS status this morning and there was a new update saying that

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

It makes me little nervous that I haven't received any email regarding passport request yet, but it could be because I am from South Korea which is Visa Exempt country.

Do you guys have any idea if the decision will be a good news or bad news? (I mean... for example, they wouldn't update on the ECAS about decision made if they are going to reject me.. something like that..)

Also, when they contact me about the final decision, is it going to be email or mail? Do you know how long it will take approximately?
