I mailed my application by Fedex in Toronto.

I had my application returned to me yesterday (April 16th, I sent it on March 24th) because I missed a signature. Re sent it Yesterday.
Stressful times.

Once I get the AOR, what does that mean? Where do we go from there?

If there are any issues with documents (like signature missing in case of katec101), how long CIC takes to sent back the docs?

They have date stamped all of my documents March 31st, and I had it back on April 15th.

Good job for Fedex then! I heard people saying good things about Purolator too. Thats why I asked, but seems like all courier services are doing a good job.

Did You send it to Ottawa or Sydney?

Hello Friends...Help Needed... Shocked

Unfortunately today I got my application returned with following reason:

Please see the highlighted items on the enclosed checklist or the enclosed Appendix. In checklist Section 11 Identity and Civil documents, they have highlighted - You must provide your spouse birth certificate.

In my application I have added an affidavit from notary with explanation about not having correct birth certificate and providing details on it. As additional proofs I have added notarized copies in it of - Passport, School leaving certificate, Indian driving license, indian PAN card, Marriage certificate and birth certificate (non-English).

Now additional note says:

PLEASE NOTE: THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE (SECONDARY, MATRICULATION OR SCHOOL LEAVING FORMS) PROVIDED AS THE CLIENTS BIRTH CERTIFICATE REQUIRES ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ON ONE FORM:
1. NAME OF CLIENT
2. DATE OF BIRTH FOR THE CLIENT
3. PARENT'S NAME (EITHER MOTHER, FATHER OR BOTH ACCEPTABLE)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

But there is only passport which has all information which was already there in affidavit.

Please comment.....

How did you re-send the application.....
You just signed the page and resend everything (which has stamps and tick marks etc)..as it is?

Yes. The exact same thing happened to my friend!

Folks, Right now AOR was received for people whose application received by 28 MAR 2014. Starting next week, april applicants will start getting AOR and CC charged. Good luck and updated the sheet to keep it in track.

Can someone please help me in Understanding whether a PGDM from canadian university gives 8 months work permit or 12 months work permit ??

Example: PGDM in project management from Humber or fleming or regina in sasketchwan ?
