My PR application was received on Apr 07 and AOR on May 02....

I am looking stranded with no movement and no news on my PR request.

I am currently in Montreal and have applied for PR under CEC.

App received - Apr 3
RCMP for wife - sent in June
Medical done on Nov 5th.
Inquiry to prove intention of stay out of quebec - 25th Nov.

If you are planning to move yo Ottawa.. Provide th Copy of your Rent Agreement or Lease Paper. If you have dependent child, spouse add their name in the agreement and scan it and email it with the new resident address.

I was in the same situation when I applied, my employer had an office location in Toronto but I am on closed WP(so I cant move till I get my PR). So my employer mentioned in my Reference letter that upon acquiring Permanent Residency,I will be relocated to Montreal.
You can do the same, mentioning that you will work from Ottawa from home and they have no issues. And explain in your cover letter that you cant move to Ottawa becos ur in closed WP, if this is applicable to you.
If you are on open wp, then you might hav to consider moving out of qc asap.

CIC will accept this explanation, becos I got my PPR & waitin fr pp to come back. Goood Luck!

When did you go for Medicals. How long it took for updating Medical status in ECAS.

Is anybody else having issues with ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/ECAS.jsp)

Been trying to check my status but sometimes the page doesn't load and sometimes it doesn't redirect to my profile.

Hey! I noticed that you also did medicals in the same place than me. Did you get an update in your ECAS 'medicals done'? I just read so many bad reviews about this guy that I'm a bit afraid.

Hi Sunil,

I completed my medical on Nov 24th, the doctor said they sent my medical on Nov 29th, and ECAS was updated on Dec 3rd.

Would you know if that will be sufficient as i cannot move before i get PR, currently on closed WP.
Did you also showed some proofs of new job search in other locations or lease at new location?
Wondering if this letter only can suffice.

How did you send this letter? did you replied over email you got or sent hard copy to Ottawa Address?

Thanks v51987, as i have to reply in 30 days, its little difficult to finalise lease in such short notice.

I submitted the employment letter @ beginning n also a cover letter abt my closed wp situation.
They didn't come back n ask me fr further proofs. U can start contacting real estate agents fr houze lease n add as additional proof.
Only thing s v dont know the date u shud move out yet so i guess vo will understand
I will move once i get pp back.
