Nothing significant. Just a few files transfers to the local office.

My time line is:

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 18, 2013.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on April 18, 2013. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on July 4, 2013.


My application was transferred and received by Mississauga on October 4. There's no updates on ecas. I guess the next update should be related to the test date.


That is strange that your file was not transferred yet. Did you apply in April? Did the agent tell you what visa office your application would be transferred to?

Hi I also applied similar time. Just question does e-cas show your file transfer to Mississauga Office or I have to call CIC to know about it?

No, my ecas does not show any information for the file transfer. Only when I called the CIC, agent informed me about it when he looked into my file.

We have pretty similar timeline. My office is Vancouver. I will call them on Monday to see if there is any update. I hope you will get the test day soon!

My application arrived on Apr 22.

try to send an e-mail to CIC, my case my husband sent my application without my medical then i e-mail the CIC after two days i received an e-mail requesting my medical and passport.

Email cic, why? I called and spoke with an agent, and she looked up my file and said that everything is ok, it's in process, but haven't been transferred to local office yet. So I think at this point I should just wait. Non, do I miss anything? Do you think that I can get another responce if I email them? :
