I read in one of the thread that these days CPP is not requesting new photos along with Passport requests?
Seniors, Is it correct?
I am planning to get some photographs done in advance and hence requesting the advise if I should get it or not?

Kindly advise if one should still submit the photos.

I got my PPR - Visa Ready - Request today at 6:15pm ............gosh finally the wait is over. Thank GOD!!!

Hi everyone, my family of 5 applied for immigration as CEC in April, and we've just sent Biodata and RPRF yesterday as soon as we received the email. We are also finishing up medical exam this week.

My mom is the principal applicant but I worked on the application with my parents.

My family (which is me + my younger siblings + parents) can stay until Sept. 2015. However, I'm in Canada with a study permit (21 yrs old) which expires on May 18th of this year. This is the concern, because my visa expires soon. I would like to extend it and stay with my family in Canada by all means possible while our CEC application is in process, but I doubt we have enough money to apply for another study permit and pay the tuition.

So my question is... What happens to the application if I have to leave Canada alone before we receive PR? Does anybody know about this...?

Did you send the upfront medical receipt to cpo Ottawa email?

Yes I did. I sent all the receipts with UMI numbers

hi guys,

I got an email from immigration two days ago that they don't have a proof of receipt of my RPRF on file and that i need to pay the fees so that they can finalize my application so what i did was I paid online today, print the copy of receipt and sent it through email. I'm wondering if they're going to request for my biodata and ppr at the same time? thank you for all your help!

Please read the email carefully, I know it's generic .

There will be 2 distinct different emails to send each to.

Hi Suvan, you mentioned about two separately emails, I only saw email to OttPilot-Immigration@cic.gc.ca. I just replied the email directly with the attachments. Do you think that is going to be ok? What is the other email address? Thank you.

Agree 100% with you! SO stressful this whole immigration thing. But we're almost there woohoo! ;D Without this forum I wouldn't have known my options and would have been back in Holland for sure.

Ahhh. I feel you! So uplifting to see my fellow applicants getting the great news and sharing the anxiety on waiting for any status updates.

I absolutely second your thoughts; this forum has taught me so much and cannot be more grateful.

I'm checking my ecas every day to see if there are any changes... The wait is too much of a burden!

Hey Guys,

So on 27 Jan I got an email which was the request for payment of RPRF and they are asking me to pay online also to send my biodata the height and eye color.

Also guys I noticed my application status is changed to "In Process" which is great.

But I didn't receive my medical request yet, they mentioned in the email that i have to send this email with the payment cleared within 30 days to start all the process.

So did anybody else got this email, please advise what have to done for this.

One is for receipt and the other for RPRF fee.

You need to make sure it goes to the right email, I'm not at home to check, soemeone should have both emails
