I hear ya! Did my medical that same week, was hoping it would get updated today (looking at the timelines most people received an update 7 business days later). I'm so impatient and obsessed with checking :

I received my medical request also today!!!! No need to do upfront. But they did not update my living address. I sent them an email on November with changes : I did change online my address. Interesting ???

What's happened next? RPRF and what's when if I am from visa exempt country.

Also are my spouse will be eligible for OWP if I request BOWP?

CIC immigration officer called my employer on Monday Jan 20 to confirm my employment information. I received my ME email yesterday.

CIC immigration officer called my employer on Monday Jan 20 to confirm my employment information. I received my ME email yesterday.

Do they call the employer to confirm employment?
It might put me in spot if they call my employer as they dont know anything about my application and will not be happy to know about it.

Congrats to everyone so far on receiving their medicals. (slightly jealous)

I received my GCMS notes yesterday and found nothing has been started only criminality :-[
My question is, once they start the eligibility part, how long does that process roughly take?
Could it take a month? Week?
Any answers appreciated. ;D

Yea the immigration officer asked whether there is an employee called blah blah and whether I am a regular employee in the company. They also questioned how did my employer find me as I graduated in bc but worked in Toronto. Ur employer doesn't know ur application? Who signed on ur employment letter?
