was there a problem with the tracking sheet?
I am pretty sure I put my name there, but when I checked today, it had disappeared. So I put it back.
Don't worry if your name shifted down by one row . (My application was received on 8th April)

Just got my AOR. Thank God. I am really happy now. But thinking still we bigin the journey and have more to go. Cheers guys.

Okay guys just thought to share some info about AOR email who is curios about it as I was. You can see the sender as Centralized-Intake-Office <Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca>. Normally the email will pop up on your inbox but I heard some people got it to their Junk mail, or spam mail folder. I live in Alberta, so as from_mumbai said earlier, probably we will start to get the Email by evening. I got mine at 5.53PM, and the time frame is just 6 week. good luck everybody, keep in touch.

i filed my Cec application through an agent , i guess they have received my application around 15th april 2013
so when shud i expect the file number,

can any one suggest me how can i sponsor my wife to come to canada b4 i get my PR, as i just got married in feb 2013 and her visitor visa got denied.
Is there any other way to sponsor her,
after i submit my application i sent my old passport to renewal and my TRV visa will get expired on dec 2013.

You cannot sponsor your wife till you get the PR or you can submit them along with you PR application. Only way is visiting visa, but most of the time visiting visa denied for newly marriage couple as immigration concern about marriage fraud in Canada. There is no other way to get in to Canada, she can try on study visa or work visa , but defiantly she will get rejected, cause she rejected once and her newly marriage spouse is working in Canada. if you submit your CEC application through agent she take care about everything, cause you paid them. so don't worry they will get your passport back on time. you will get you file number after 6 week CIC receive you package.

My application reached Sydney, NS office on May 9th. I have given my credit card details for the processing fees. When should I see a charge on my credit card and by when should I expect the AOR email?
Does using a credit card delay the application process?
