Heey guys, I am an 18 April applicant, and I received Medical today! I am going to update the list.

yes I did 3 days ago and expecting to receive them by mid April.

on Jan 22 VO sent an email requesting additional information about my employer and I sent those on February 7th.

Hi albert, can you please share with us what kind of additional information cic asked about your employer.

I used to work for a company based on the states and my direct hiring manager is based on BC ..the initial employement letter was signed by my direct manager which is in BC and he used his home address and cell phone number.so i had to send them prrof i was working with him and also explaining why he is home based and uses cell phone.........we work in Alberta in big contracts and my manager hires/fires/dispatch and assign projects in alberta for different clients.

they also couldn't find the company website on the internet so i had to attach few pictures and send them the link .

i sent them email money transfers coming from my manager in canada to my bank (this is how we get paid)
i sent them sample emails exchanged between the main company,my manager,my self and our clients
i also sent them wire transfers coming from the main company in USA coming to my manager in Canada.

hopefully they will find this sufficent info.

I'd like to thank all of you in this very helpful thread. I got my Copr and passports back after exactly 2 weeks wait, which happened to be today is my 5th year in Canada as a contract worker.

I wish everyone goodluck and all of you guys deserve to become permanents.

So keep praying and have a much of patience as waiting makes us sick.
I will do my landing next month.

can you please put some details on your employment letter submitted to CIC?who signed it/what kinda contract agency.......etc?

I am contract worker and few ppl said this is considered self-employed and do not qualify for CEC.......please explain

I am at work and I can't open the google document.
are you aware of any applicant who didn't receive medical requestes?
do you know how long it takes VO to process the new requsted documents?it has been more than 6 weeks now and haven't heard anything.......going crazy

Did you follow up with CIC? I too got the additional documents(Original documents) request and I sent email to CIC twice then CIC acknowledged that documents are received. I took me 18days to get the MR after additional documents request

CIC requested additional info about my employer on Jan 22 and I sent those on Feb7th, emailed CIC 2 days ago and they acknowlodged receiving those documents but they havent update/send anything yet.
