If you want to update the spreadsheet with my info... our initial application was kicked back to us because I hadn't filed taxes while I lived with my wife in the US, so I didn't have any notices of assessment for the last two years.

This caused a significant delay while I filed taxes and waited for the necessary paperwork and then updated our application to reflect the fact that we now have a son together. At the end of the day our application was only officially received Aug. 8 and SA Sept. 4. I've moved our information over to the August applications thread.

The real killer about it is that I can see some of you are already approved and landed. I so desperately wish that was the case for my wife! At least we're in process now...

and my ECAS not even changed yet, it still only shows that they received my application.. no medical results received yet..

Apologies for posting in this thread again, but I can't find the "definitive" March thread but there is a slight update for me. My wife received the request for her passport yesterday, as well as a request for an RCMP check (we had submitted an FBI check as she is American, but I guess they want a Canadian one now!) Odd, but not a big deal I guess, as long as it doesn't take 2 months to get back! Does anyone else out there have any experience with getting an RCMP clearance check?

I went to them http://www.commissionaires.ca/, had my digital fingerprints done and my police check was in my mailbox exactly 1 week later. But it can take up to four weeks

I am one of the April's applicant too and I would like to join this group. Also I want to ask if someone has some news from CIC, I just got a letter saying when they got my package and the date they started to work on it and that was in May. I know about the strike but I hope this can finish ASAP!!!
