we got the call we've been waiting for ! My wife will get her visa next tuesday August 27th and I'll go there to come back with her and we expect to land in Canada September 6th.

It was fast process for us and we are VERY happy.

Hello all!
Funny enough I didn't stumble across this forum until today, but I guess I'll throw in my info as well, as I applied to sponsor my wife back in March and got the SA in April:

VISA Office: Los Angeles
Medical done: December 18, 2012 (I included it with the package)
App sent: March 4, 2013
Date received: March 5, 2013
Stage 1 AOR: March 13, 2013
Sponsorship approval: April 2, 2013

...and that's all I have for that! My wife's app is sitting in Los Angeles, and by the government website it currently says 22 months (dear god I hope not!), although that number has been increasing disproportionately over the last few months).

Hi DuberBlue,

:)

I shall add you to our spreadsheet...however, I notice that you applied in March (this is the April thread). No worries, I take care of both spreadsheets (see my signature line), so I shall add you to the March 2013 spreadsheet. Welcome to the waiting game. I certainly hope you don't have 22 months of total waiting! That would be terrible! But living with our spouse is certainly worth it, eh? God bless you in this process.

Thank you NicAnn! I had April in my mind since that's the start of the "real" waiting period for me, but this works too!
