and then there quite a few who sent their passports in February or March and perhaps haven't received it yet or not done the landing?

Newest Update:

I've filed GCMS on May 22nd and followed an email inquiry to CIC on the same day as well ...
Five days after on May 27th a reply was made from CIC that brought me a good news ...

Okay, the good news is that my CoPR was issued on May 6th ...
The bad news is that neither myself nor my consultant has received it to this date, which could've been lost in mail ...

In this case, I might or may have to wait for a few weeks (hopefully less) to get CIC to re-issue one to us ...
It's now re-confirming with CIC and trying to request for reissue as we speak ...

Well, another wait ...

Gosh ... the process of requesting a CoPR is frustrating because ottpilot - immigration @ cic . gc. ca doesn't really respond you much ...
It's like every email sent in would take at least 5 business days to get back to you or ever, never ...

Plus, was enquiring them how can we request to reissue CoPR since it was lost in mail system (issued on May 6th through regular mail addressed to my consultant) ...
CPP/CIC replied: if we were used Expresspost, we would be able to track the mail (what the heck is that) ...

"CoPR was lost in mail but kind of blaming us not using Exprsspost" => Does anyone see the problem here ... ?!
My wife and I are from visa exempt countries, and hence we were not requested to send in our passport (there was no PPR in our stage) ...

Could anyone here suggest me how to approach this effectively & efficiently ?!
We've been trying to become a permanent resident in Canada since 2007 in our FSW application but got eliminated that took place ...

It's just simply frustrating ... !!!
