Hi Satanak,

there is no problem at all, even if your FD matures and then you make a new one.. you dont have to inform the VO..

the only condition is in case they ask for POF again you should be able to show the required proof.

I hope it helps

You got your 2nd AOR on 13 Jan 2011. It is too early for anything to happen on your application. Your AOR letter must be having some time-line defined before you need to contact the Visa Office. Just check that, if it has exceeded then write them an e-mail through the case specific inquiry on CIC website.

given me 6 month time....let me complete that.....then i will drop a mail...it's just 3 months passed yet....

hoping my visa within 8 month...

guys.. can anyone tell the validity of a PCC. Police Clearance Certificate .

Is it 6 months or 1 year ?

Dear Friends,

Below is some information regarding the processing times for pre 26June applicants. This mail clearly indicates the "Priority". Its time to think if anybody wants to withdraw application and reapply under the current 29 list while there is still time. Tough decision....

Friends I sent query to London Visa Office after 8 months passed to my 2nd AOR letter. I asked them how long further it will take... here is the response that I just got.

This is in response to your enquiry.

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.

During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.

This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.

Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Yours sincerely,

It's 12 months. Pls find the paragraph below:

Note: If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one.
