Hi dear,
i am 5th may applicant having e-cas status RBVO-(newdelhi) 28sept,1stAOR---18NOV ,2nd AOR
.looking to the superfast speed of postjune 26 applicants processing by newdelhi visa office , i decided to reapply at end of april2010 in same NOC category 3111 which will never reach upto1000 cap even after june2011.
My question is should i mention in my background declaration of my previous application?should i withdraw previous oneafter getting my PER? will i get refund back of RPRF and processing fees? i will give another IELTS on 2 april 2011 since british council cant give originals.
PLEASE REPLY.
Thanking you.

sorry typoerror .its april2011

if i will send CIO new application at 20 april 2011 they will recive by 30 april 2011 and i will get PER in 90 days means by julyend afterthat files transferred to newdelhi visaoffice immediately in one week and immediate processing since i will fall in 1000 cap so they must issue this fixed visa quota for postjune26 applicants in this year only .my old application will never be processed so fast this year because of long waiting list ahead

Sadika,

your reasoning is flawed in one sense that you are assuming that 1000 is the number of visas Canada is going to give out for the year. It is not so. The number 1000 indicate max number of visas in that noc for the year it does not say that whatever number of application that CIO gets before june will be processed in this year itself. so your conclusion abt immediate file transfer and immediate processing is not true. moreover there is a talk that yet another set of nocs and revision in the PR processing is going to happen this june. What if those applicants get preference and then your new application is stalled?
I dont think its wise to chase a running target. Its almost 4 months from your 2nd AOR and may be in a couple of months of time you will get your medicals.
That way you have chosen your April end time line correctly so if your case doesnt show in process till then, the process is really slow and you can then put up a new application.
When you put a new application then you have to withdraw one. and you have a choice of which one to withdraw and I am not so sure about the refund.

All the best.

Hi all,
I decided to continue with my old application only .i wrote to minister@cic.gc.ca regarding present scenario of newdelhi visa office in giving priority over prejune applicants eventhough we are in newhigh demand joblist, May be we will get our processing in fast track only .just wait and watch with patience.

I think this is a wise move,.

An update from my end...

2nd AOR from Buffalo was received on 7-Mar-2011 after my full documentation was delivered to Buffalo office on 1-Nov-2010. The new file number on AOR starts with 'B' and the current e-cas status is "IN PROCESS".

Can you tell me what your NOC is? My VO is also Buffalo. I'm just trying to get a timeline.

I think this is a good choice Sadika..

In fact I was also thinking of reapplying after 26th June. but decided to continue the old one instead. If we had done this in say july or sept 2010 then it was ok but I think its a bit late to start the process afresh.

Hi Azneita,

Nice to see u after a long time, as u know I also applied on the same date 29th april, the first AOR came on the 28th Sept, I sent my complete docs on the 9th November itself to the New Delhi VO, received the 2nd AOR on the 18th Jan. As per the current time lines you should get your 2nd AOR by mid to end April. You took exactly 120 days to file your complete docs, so the timeline got extended there.

Any way Best of Luck.
