I hope so, from previous posts I think that is usually the case although I think there have been a couple of examples of people having their card charged and then being rejected but not ususal. Good Luck, we are on exactly the same timeline

Saki thank u so much for ur quick responce...
i'm applying under NOC 3112 ( GP doctor), so my job experinces for the past 7 years in the last 10 years is of the same job ( GP doctors)...from my current employer, i have employment contract & ref letters showing full job deuties + duration+annual salary package+ No of hours/week ...etc) its since decm 2008 up to date ( about one & half year in perminant full time paid job) this letters is signed & stamped in headed paper & also personal bussnies card of the manger provided.
BUT....for the old employments i have ref letters ( in hospital headed papers signed & stamped) with brief description & also showing the duration thats all.....do u think it will be OK & satisfy the VO?? : or i may need to sen explanation letter with my documents for that old letters issues?? waiting 2 hear ur advices

The documents you got is enough but you do need to attach an explanation statement about old job letters issue because if you do not explained it now then they will ask you about it later which will just delay your process.

Hi All

One of the my friend has applied with me on same date April 18, 2010
my CC charged on 8th July.
and my friend CC was decline because of insufficient fund.
So now they will cash his DD.
my question is that how long it will take to charge DD. can anybody has send application with DD. and what is time frame for DD charge.

The time frame for the DD and CC is same its just depend when your application was received by CIC and when they started working on it.

today its been exactly 3 months since my app was recieved by CIO and still have nt recieved the assesment email/letter.

Thanks buddy and congrats to you too, after CC is charged there is still a slight chance of application been returned as we saw this happening with couple of our fellow applicants but be positive and dont think negative you will get you AOR soon.

Anyway, I just read in another forum that once you stayed in the US for 5 months, you need to get an FBI clearance? Is this true? I am from the Philippines and I have stayed in the US for 5 months in 2008. I havent requested for an FBI clearance though since the Guidelines provide that you need to get a clearance only in places you stayed for more than 6 months. Have you guys encountered this or at least heard it?

I have heardthe same thing if you stayeda anywhere for 6 months or more then you need PCC and its same on the CIC website so i dont think you need PCC for FBI and also it takes lot of time i heard around 8-9 weeks.

I am just wondering when are we going to be receiving our 2nd AOR? And lastly if we mail our full documents to visa office should i just copy my payment form? You see that in that form credit card informations were asked and as well as the signature of the applicant and the date when you signed the form. If im going to send it again to visa office should i copy the date or change the date? Pls help It seems that they are very strict to the entries we put in our application. I dont want my papers to be returned.

Hi Smile,

If you have lived in US for 6 months or more then you need FBI clearance. CHC will let you know later if you need a State police clearance. The current timeline for FBI clearance certificate is 16 weeks. You need to send couple of FBI cards in case the fingerprints are not readable to avoid delay.

The other thing I had suggested in one of my earlier post that you can go ahead and request for the State PCC because that has a shorter timeline and some States do not require the fingerprint card as for an eg for MA. But California needs a Fingerprint card. Once you get the State PCC, you can send it with your full documents and mention in your cover letter that FBI clearance cert is awaited. CHC are aware that FBI is taking a lot of time to process.
