Hello,

1) I sent my full application to CIO on 2nd April (Friday ) by USPS from USA. There was no tracking system for international mails on Priority Mails. I checked yesterday with the same post office and they said it takes 7-10 business days so it should have been received around 13-14th April
When I applied at that time processing time was 45-90 days which completes in July 1st week which is near........Draft not encashed yet and no AOR till now...Not sure how many months more CIO would take.......Anyone in same boat. ?

2) Moreover my NOC code is removed in the list that has been updated recently on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list and also new rule of 1000 applications per NOC. Hopefully it should not hamper my chances and effects only new applicants on or after 26th June.


Please also add me in the list of April 2010 applicants tracker...

UPDATE: Congrats to tukku78 for the first AOR and that to on saturday seems like CIC works on saturday as well.

Hi,

Dont worry there are some other applicants as well whose application was received around the same date as your and they have not heard anything yet, next week will be your week so have some patience you will get some good news next week.

Hi,

The test centre can send copy direct to CHC but how will CHC know that for which file is this IELTS result. I would say make a copy of IELTS test for yourself and certified it and send the original one to CHC you will get your documents back once the decision on your case is made.

Came to conclusion that April applicants will not be effected by change from 26th June.Rather their process time will be reduced.

Hi,

It will take some more time as you can see from the list that CIC is processing the applications received by mid april so you will receive a response in next 2-3 weeks. I have added you into the list as well.

I think they have a automated email client which sends you the email after it has been flaged in the system.

e.g. when the CIO official marks a positive review complete status on ones file :) :)
