Hi Guys,

Just trying to review the instruction and I happen to encounter some confusion regarding submitting the photo to the VO. We are 4 family members , should I put in separate envelopes each persons photo? Should I write the name,height, eye color in all the photos or in only one photo of each person? Lastly, should I write my name and date of birth in each envelope or it should be the name of the persons in photo.

Step 5 of the Instruction regarding photo submission says: " Write your name and date of Birth on the outside of the envelope" , this exactly where I got confused. Appreciate your help with this Guys. Thanks....

put 6 photos in separate envelops. write name d.o.b and the date of photo taken on back of each photo. write name and d.o.b outside each envelop. this info is for delhi. i dont know ur visa office.

Tnx for the reply Parygre. Mine is at London VO and quite different from the ND VO, looks detailed. For London VO It needs only 4 copies and heres the instruction:

3. On the back of one photo of each person, write the name of the person in the photo and his or her height and eye colour.
4. Enclose the photos of each person in an envelope and seal the envelope.
5. Write your name and date of birth on the outside of the envelope.

I'm thinking also to put in separate envelops and write in the back of all photos. The instruction looks easy to understand but again doubts are in my mind. Can anyone elaborate further please, tnx...

Regarding the police clearance, i am residing in Kuwait since the age of 23. Prior to this i was in India since age 18.

kinldy inform me if i should get a Police clearence from India direclty or get it from the Indian embassy or consulate here.

Hi Gavi,

If you have stayed in INDIA for 6months after the age of 18 then you will need to get Indian Police Clearance otherwise no need for it. You can get it from Indian Embassy but they will take time as they will send it to India, so if you have any relative in India ask them to get it for you it will be quicker.

But I sent my application in March 19th, CIC recieved on 19th april, there was no such option that time, they must see the date of posting then take decission. :

if locked date is considered from the posting date then it is not problem with ur application but if it is considered from the receiving of CIO then ur application can be retuned. here i would like to tell u that i filed my application on 22 March and received by CIO on 1st April they objected on my visa office as well; besides this, i also left one column blank so there were two objections on my application.

i m a bit confused about kabyan'ssister applicants in list who states that his application was received on 11 april but on 11 april it was sunday so how can
NS people receive application on sunday.....i think they r closed on saturday and sunday.........
and i was not able to check whether my DD is encashed or not.....so if applicants up to 7th april r receiving aor then 8th 9th and 12th april applicants will they be receiving aor next week .....wat u say

Yes you are right it cant be saturday or sunday as they are closed but this is the date provided to me by kabyan, maybe they have just courier it and assume that it will be dere in next 3-4 days and told me 11th april without checking the day
