hello guys it seems everybody is on their way for documents and funds preperation. so far i have collected all the documents however i am little sad that singapore police need proof from canada that i need PCC. until then they will not process my pcc. its not like that for some other countries. hhhmmm that will delay my process by 3 or 4 weeks more. so now nothing juz wait for AOR than send proof to singapore that i need PCC for immigration canada. and 1 month delay means a lot for me....singapore why u have alwayz so strict rules and makes our life difficult.

for fund i have collected the money and fixed in account so that i can submitted when they ask for.

IT SEEMS LIKE MARCH APPLICANTS R GETTING THEIR AOR THEN OUR TURN....THANK YOU EVERYBODY

Hi Chami,

It should be ok but check with the local police office if they need anything else from you to complete the police check. Further to get the russian police clearance i have copied the instructions below.

How to get one?
Persons residing in Russia should apply in person or via an authorized representative to the Information Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Head Department of Interior Affairs (GUVD) or Department of Interior Affairs (UVD) of their city/region/republic. Please ensure you request that your police certificate is issued using the standard form according to the instructions of the Ministry of Interior Affairs dated January 2002. Please note that police certificates issued by local militia offices are not acceptable.
Persons residing outside of Russia should apply to the Consular section of the nearest Embassy of Russia in the country of residence.

Dear All,

I just want to share with you that i called CIC call center now, the agent told me that they are still entering 8 April applications, the reason behind this delay is they recieved HUGE number of applications on 8 and 9 April due to the pre IELTS requirement announcement to take place effective 10 April, accordingly they are expecting to finalize 8 and 9 April entries in 2 more weeks from now, starting 10 April, number of applications recieved went back to normal level.

I agree with the above information. Maximum number of applications have been filed in march and april after the annoucement of April 10 Ielts cutoff. ( though nothing happened so far). Even if you compare lists of february to june applicants you will find maximum filed in April.

Before april applications, processing time was quite normal , as per my finding on this blog people even recevd. AOR within 40 days ( avg time was 45 to 60 days) .but due to april 10 they have huge rush so it may increase to 60 to 90 days . Even in our list 70 % people filed in the first half of april. so once this rush is over the timing will again be normal.
