Hi Chami,

It should be ok but check with the local police office if they need anything else from you to complete the police check. Further to get the russian police clearance i have copied the instructions below.

How to get one?
Persons residing in Russia should apply in person or via an authorized representative to the Information Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Head Department of Interior Affairs (GUVD) or Department of Interior Affairs (UVD) of their city/region/republic. Please ensure you request that your police certificate is issued using the standard form according to the instructions of the Ministry of Interior Affairs dated January 2002. Please note that police certificates issued by local militia offices are not acceptable.
Persons residing outside of Russia should apply to the Consular section of the nearest Embassy of Russia in the country of residence.

but i have another issue now, i took PC on March 10th, application received by CIO 6th April. ecording to the site PC should not be more than 3 months old before applying, but it does not say which stage??? i took it as the appl to CIO, but ppl think before CHC. the Q is which one is right?

pls any notes and suggestions are highly appreciated.

Hi Chami,

The PCC should not be 3 months older at the time of submitting your full docs to your visa office. So say if you submit your full application on 20th June then your PCC should be not older than 20th March so if you have PCC issued before 20th March that will not be sufficient and you will need to get a new one.

As you took PCC on 10th March then you must submit it by 10th June because after that it will be expired and you will need a new one.
Sorry didnt notice before that you put the exact date of your pcc in your notes.

Chami,
CIC website says PC should not be more than three months old before you submit your application. We submit our application to CIC NS, so your PC is OK. To local Visa office we submit a copy of our application (together with all supporting docs). I think it is clear in CIC website and guide.

As you took PCC on 10th March then you must submit it by 10th June because after that it will be expired and you will need a new one.
Sorry didnt notice before that you put the exact date of your pcc in your notes.

"You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO."

So you can not collect the PC not more then three months before submitted the application to CIO

Now I think nobody have any confusion about PC collection

I have sent my application to NS and reached to them on 2nd June 2010.

1) I have shown my work experience in two catagories 0213 and 4131. Will that be OK?

2) another is i have not mentioned "FULL TIME" or "PART TIME" in my application while showing Studying and work experience.

3) During my PG Diploma i was studying and working both togather but both were full time will they consider this????

Since your application was recd post april 10, and your cc/dd are charged, pls. tell us have any of you sent IELTS result copy with your application to CIO?

a) if yes then we still doubt that the april 10 ielts cut off exists or not.

b) if not then it means this april 10 ielts condition is bull ****.
