No need to paste photos. Just put the photos of each member in separate envelope and write the name of the person on the envelope.

Hi Mitali,my IELTS score is L:8,R:6.5,W:6,S:6,so i got 12 points which makes total points 69.But my NOC is 4131,so i wanted to know whether the above score is ok with me? as i read from u that NOC 4131 should get good ielts results.Should i reappear again or its ok?Plz reply,i have received my 1st AOR

Hi Arshad,

What I have mentioned in my posts regarding higher IELTS scores for 4131 is purely my own opinion.

Given the fact that a 4131 applicant should be proficient in all the modules of IELTS is based on the nature of the job. If I were you then I would re take the test to improve upon my scores. But again this is your decision.

IELTS = 6

although it seems that ur brother have passed in marking system but Visa Officer may request for another IELTS because he has scored Reading=4.5, Listening=5.0 ..... in the present trend, any score below 5.5 is a bit risky in spite of more than 67.

Thanks Mitali and Prince I will ask my brother to do the IELTS again next month on 20th Nov, I believe result of IELTS will come after ten days and he would have enough time to submit the documents because has has completed all other documents, I have one question if he wouldn't increase his ILETS score in next try, can he submit this score or not. and one more thing he has sales representative experience from 01-07-2006 to 01-04-2008 with NOC 6231, will this effect his experience points or it will be okay, this NOC was there in Canadian list in 2008 before April.

Hi Ovais,

1) As pointed out by Prince the current scores of your brother is a red flag. I am assuming by his education he will be required to perform better than his present scores. (My assumption is based on the fact that I do not know your brother's NOC).

2) Well, if he can not improve his current score then of course you have no other option but to send the current scores and wait for the VO's decision.

3) You receive the IELTS score after 13 CALENDAR days and not 10 days. Please check the information booklet of the examination centre. Bear in mind that he should not miss his 120 day submission date.

4) If the experience acquired through NOC 6231 falls in the skill category of O, A or B then he will get additional points. What is his NOC for his current application?


It will be nice to have your brother on board so that all of us can interact more proactively.

sales representative experience from July 2006 to April 2008 with NOC 6231
Accountant from May 2005 to June 2006 with NOC 1111

In the letter received from ND VO, it has been mentioned that you should communicate our office directly if you do not receive any further communication from us within 3 months from the date of submission of documents.

Do this mean that I should contact NDVO if I don't receive any further communication till 1st week of November?

yes dear..

u can inquire about ur application progress, according to the letter u mentioned, u are supposed to receive medical request with in three months, thats why they have told you to remind them if they forgot to send u medical request

so right now write an email, hold it till the end of third month and send it on the 1st day of 4th month.. okkkk

I am a pre-june 2010 applicant.
I sent my full documents to VO, ND on 20th Oct and the same was delivered before 12 noon on 21st Oct.

When can I expect an email ( AOR ) from the visa office and the employer verification ( if.any ) to take place ?

Can the people who have got their maple leaf, please confirm if their verification at work was done ?
