Hi All,
I have the Canadian PR but currently reside in US. My spouse is planning to move to Canada and I will accompany her for the initial setup. I plan to fly back in a week or two. I would like to get my H1b visa stamped while I am there but I do not see any appointment available.
There are however a lot of appointments avaialble if I answer the question:
Are you traveling from another country to apply for a U.S. visa in Canada? - NO

- Can I as a permanent resident select NO?
- I believe during document check they ask for proof of residency. Is PR card proof of residency?
- Do slots open up from time to time?
- I am aware I can use AVR, getting the stamping done is the best case IMO.
- This will be for extension, my stamp expires August.
