Applying for work permit while using study permit after receiving ITA

Dear all,

I'm a student in Canada and living here by study permit. Also I got ITA in April and will be graduated in few months.
I'm wondering can I apply for work permit now to have work permit and study permit at the same time?
I know we can get work permit after receiving ITA, but not sure can I do the same when I'm already on study permit?

No - you cannot apply for a work permit based on ITA.

You can only apply for a BOWP based on ITA if you are here on a work permit. Since you're here on a study permit - you don't qualify.

You need to apply for a PGWP once you complete your studies so that you can work.

Thanks for your reply. What if I want to quit studying and only get work permit? I am a PNP nominee and I know we can get work permit after nomination.
