Applying for Study Permit while PR application is open

I have done m.com 2012 pass out
5 years exp
Ielts overall 7 not less den 6.5
Applied in york university for 1 year PG degree certificate
Im so worried coz i have 6 years gap and applied

I have done my M.Ed in 2013.... even I have a gap but I don't think it really mattered.... I got through in the University of Toronto...

My husband applied for a student visa in July 2017. He had his medical done same month. By mid August of 2017, his visa application was denied. However, I got ITA today from the express entry system. When we visited the clinic for medicals, it was found that his old medical is still active in the emedical portal hence they could not create a new slot for him. We had to do their test without him. Since he had the medicals in July 2017, it would have expired by now. What could be done to rectify this please?

I have gone through the thread and thanks for posting just getting a reassurance. I hv my session starting in Jan 2019 and my PR application has been in progress since Aug 2018. I am planning to apply for Study Permit in November 2018. Hope that this will be fine? Experts please advise

No worries U will applied study visa and getting it if u have complete all the requirments ... my wife also getting study permit and canada pr file also in progress at same time

The Come to Canada tool is only a wizard for online applications, it's not the actual ministerial instructions.


I for one applied for a TRV while my PR application was in progress. I answered the questionnaire as if I was only applying for a TRV, I even used the same MyCIC account and UCI number as my Express Entry app, and there was no conflict at all: My PR application was approved 2 weeks after my TRV was stamped. I got the GCMS notes for both applications, and CIC was perfectly aware of my parallel applications.

At the level of POF, did you transfered all your funds to canada after you received your TRV while your application PR was pending or u waited until it approved or u left the minimum amount for the PR to be approved ? ?

Thanks for the response .but while in canada how do u get your remaining funds send to u?? Considering u are single. Do u order for a bank draft or wiretransfer from ur former local bank taking into consideration that even if ur debit card is activated for international use u can't exceed a withdrawal limit ?
