Hello everyone

I have already applied for a visitor visa to visit my brother in Canada. Meanwhile, I have received an admission from a Canadian university. Since my visitor visa application is still in progress, I am considering starting my study permit application before a decision is made on the other.

Is it feasible? What are the odds?

Sure you can do it. As for odds, no one can tell you that as it depends on your funds, ties to home country and justifying costs of the program with education and career advancement.

Tips on what visa. You applied 3 days ago. Where did you apply from?

Pretty hard thing to do, online updates are rare for SP's. In my experiences there was no update through the process, application received then the next was the decision. Maybe no news is good news, it's still being processed.
