Applying for FSW while inside Canada on a PGWP

18 months of Skilled Work Experience in my Home Country
Came to Canada as a student, got my PGWP, however not able to find skilled job.
IELTS 9 BANDS
TCF CLB 7 ( 50 pt boost )
CRS score 529

Can I apply via Express Entry in FEDERAL SKILLED WORKER STREAM even tho I am already inside Canada and working a Teer 4 job ?

Need your advice. Please guide. Much Much Appreciated

That can bar tricky. You might not need to show any proof of funds.

Its an Open Work Permit. I am employed full time job but Teer 4

• you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class
• or
• you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program

This is so confusing. It seems like you dont really need proof of funds because I have a work permit and a valid job offer too but it seems as IRCC wants that the job offer must be:

• LMIA-supported, or
• tied to an LMIA-exempt employer-specific work permit

So utter confusing IRCC !!

You are on a PGWP not a LMIA supported nor LMIA exempt permit so no confusing at all. You need proof of funds.
