Applying for Express Entry PR with work experience from Abroad.

Hey guys

Currently, I live in Germany and I am doing my traineeship in a startup here. So, if I complete one year, would my work experience qualify for the express entry application? (The traineeship is not being done on a student permit)

Also, As of now, I finished 6 months in the company, so if I decide to change my employer and do 6 months with another employer, would that affect my chances of getting the express entry PR?

Yes if your work was one year, continuous skilled it will count.

Your second part of changing companies is this part of the traineeship and is it the same NOC?

My role at the company is business development and pre sales. I do executive search and source candidates (as my employer is a freelancer and headhunting agency). The closest NOC I found relevant to me is 0601 which leads to Corporate Sales Manager. However, I am a junior manager(trainee). I have been in this role for 8 months now. So now, if I change my role to let's say a marketing traineeship (NOC 0124) in another company altogether and finish the last 4 months there, would that affect my application? (This change is because of personal reasons and not a part of my traineeship).

To be eligible for FSW, you need one year continuous skilled employment in one NOC.

Okay, so if I find a similar traineeship with NOC 0601, I can finish my 4 months in another entity altogether and it still counts for the Express entry?

So I will finish my employment on July 30th, and start the new role (same NOC) at another company on August 1st, so yes it's continuous employment but 2 different companies.
