Hello All,
I've gone through a weird series of events throughout my life and my question relates to one of them, and my willingness to move ahead in life.
After completing my A'levels, I joined a university in my home country in 2013. Unfortunately, my presence there was short lived because we ran into financial trouble, and a family divorce situation, and I had to drop out in 2015, after completing half of my 4 year course.
I then joined a full time work, and have worked there for 4 years to support myself financially. Now, it's 2019, and I applied for a 2 year diploma in business at SENECA and got accepted.
I will apply for a study permit soon.
My question is, how will the visa officer view this situation? I know it does not look good, but the life experiences I have gained is priceless. However, is there a chance the officer will reject my visa based on me dropping out previously, 4 years ago?Someone told me to not mention that I was enrolled at a university, but I do not want to take that risk.
Any help, please?
