What are your legal/immigration barriers qualifying you for conjugal?

The next step is more waiting. You can create an online account on the IRCC website to check the status.

I do not know.I did every step till medical examination.

You don't know if you qualify for conjugal??? That is extremely important. What are the legal and immigration barriers preventing you from becoming common-law or getting married?

yes I qualify perfectly. I did everything after my medical check I have not received anything else.

Well firstly I am from Cuba so I not able to go easily to another counties. My boyfriend is a refugee born in Iran. He cannot visit Iran never. For getting marry in Cuba you must have e birth certificate translate into Spanish and legalized in the country and by the embassy of Cuba in Iran. We search the possibility of getting marry in another country which no requirement of visa for cubans but all of them ask for a birth certificate. For us it is literally imposible to get merry.

What is the relationship history? How did you meet?

A quick search shows the birth certificate must be translated and then notarized at a Cuban embassy; it doesn't require it be done at the embassy in the person's home country. Looks like he can get his birth certificate notarized at the Cuban embassy in Canada.

Did you apply for a TRV? What is preventing your partner from staying in Cuba to become common-law?

No that is no right the only thing it can be gotten in the country where you are resident and not where you born is your single state which is another requirement for getting marry in Cuba and this is only aceptable is you are living in your resident country for more than six months

we met in Cuba while he was waiting for his papers done by ACNUR office. He spent almost 3 years in Cuba and we met the final year. We were together for a year and 3 month before he move in Canada. We engaged on February 2018 and we planned to marry on January 2019. Unfortunately this was impossible to do in Cuba because of the reasons I explained below. After knowing that we were not able to marry in Cuba we began to seek posibilities in counties with no visa requirements for Cubans but all of them ask for at least birth certificate. At that point we were really disappointed but we finally ask for legal advise. We were told that we should apply unther conyugal partner.
We did it on September the app received October firts. AOR 1 Nov 3 Biometrics, medical and waiting now.
I just liked to share the experience for other in my same situation bringing them hopes.
Sorry for the late reply
