Applying for Bridging Open Work Permit

Hello friends,

My Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) is going to expire on April 30th and my Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) has already been expired. The AOR date of my PR application is December 20, 2015. I am expecting that if everything goes well, I should get my PR in 3-4 months.

My questions are:

Q1 - What if I apply for BOWP and my PR application (God Forbid) gets rejected (after the expiry of my PGWP)? What options I will have then? I am asking because at that time I won't have either a PGWP or a TRV. In that case (if it happens), will I still get BOWP? If not, can I apply at that time for TRV extension and stay in Canada?

Please advise. I want to prepare for Plan B. Thanks

apply your bowp based on your Ontario nomination then you wouldn't worry about your PR application being rejected.

Even if it does then also you will have your bowp.

Also you should get your PR in a month or so
