I applied for the BOWP (Bridging Open Work Permit) 3 months ago with my husband's profile since he is the main applicant for the Permanent Residence (via Express Entry). Both work permits were approved but my work permit will expire on October 5th because my passport is expiring on October 5th too. Now, that I had renewed my passport recently, I'm planning to apply again for a work permit.
First question: Should I apply again for a BOWP or should I apply for "change or extend your status"?
Second question: Can I apply through my spouse's profile (since he is the main applicant for the Express Entry and also the last time we did it through his profile) even if the work permit is just for me? His work permit is for 1 year since he got it, so he doesn't need to apply again.
