Applying for a student permit from USA

- Is it ok to apply for the student permit visa from USA or do I have to go back to my country and apply from there?

- What type of visa can be issued for a dependent student that is coming with the primary student?
for ex. what is equivalent for the US F2 visa?

Me and my dependent are here as students with F1, while my daughter is with F2.

You can certainly apply for a study permit from the US. I assume you will be completing your studies in the US before continuing your studies in Canada - and that the studies you plan to take in Canada will build on your studies complete in the US.

Your spouse can apply for an open work permit. Your child will apply for a visitor visa. You can submit these applications along with your study permit.
