Apply open work permit,online or mail?

My status was expired when I apply CL sponsorship,now I got my aip letter,can I apply owp online?or mail is better? Thanksss

I believe the only way one can apply for an OWP is by mail.

But I have a problem when I do the determine for open work permit they ask me when my status expire in canada?and I was expired so I think I can only apply through mail

you have aip, you can apply for an owp online. it doesn't matter if your status has expired.
