Apply as an International Student or wait for my PR

I've just applied for my PR through family sponsorship. My question is, if I register in college as an International Student and I get my PR in the meantime, will I be able to switch to Canadian student, and so to pay Canadian fees from that moment on?

Depends on the program. A certain amount of international students are accepted and the programs count on the fees. The entry requirements may also be different for international students vs domestic students. Getting accepted as an international students doesn’t guarantee you will meet the entry requirements as a domestic student.
