I need your sincere advice. I applied for a study permit extension on 22 October 2022 as my study permit was about to expire on 31 December 2022. I got my new permit which is an extended permit on 04 April 2023.
After hearing the Government declaration on October 2022 that international students can work full-time in Canada, I started working full-time here from November 15, 2022. But recently, I came to know that I cannot work since I applied for study permit extension after 07 October 2022. I have already worked full time (40 hours per week) for last 5 months.
Can you please help me out regarding this situation? My M.Sc study is about to be over in a month and I am planning to apply for a work permit by June 21, 2023.
