spouse working experience documentation needed for Buffalo? repost

mark_smith said:
Hi,

I found that the New Deldhi Visa Office requires that the spouse (not the principal applicant) document his/her working experience as the principal does.

The Buffalo Office's instructions are not very clear:

For the accompanying spouse or common-law partner:
•original and up-to-date letters of reference, including all details as specified above, in respect of any employment in Canada under a work permit.
•a copy of the work permit.

Last time when I asked this question, a very nice person told me spouse's working experience documentation is only necessary is the spouse ever worked in Canada.

I'd like to confirm.

Thank you very much.

Was the nice person by any chance me? If not, then I can confirm again. I am approved and I didn't provide documentation of work experience for my spouse.

Good News!

Got my PP Request from Detroit (via email) this morning.

Hey congrats.. All VOs are moving now after a long holiday :)

But still no updates in Buffalo, hi Professional 1, do you think we should send an email again to ask our current status? I have been waiting for 9 months since 2nd AOR and They replied my email on Nov 2010 said my case is in process, but still no updates in Ecas, i am really so anxious. :(

Good luck to all of us.

Thats so good to know, iam still stuck in detroit,,this really brings hope for me..
i really wish they start pushing detroit now little a bit..

My PP Request letter did not accompany any receipt or document confirming RPRF payment. Just wondering when and how (if at all) an RPRF Payment Receipt is provided to the applicant.

Hope those of you who have landed already can shed some light on this.

BTW, thanks for the Congrats everyone!
