Hey good luck on your way man ;). My application will be holding in NYVO for at least 34 more months so I won't be hurry. I'll be planning to drive to Buffalo as soon as I get PPR, hopefully there is still some snow over there :))

Hi Smallduck

How do you know that we can go to buffalo in person for PPR?

Is there any information on cic regarding that?

Thanks

Dear Professional 1,

I will check with my bank tomorrow. Just a question... do you remember what exactly you send for RPRF, a money order or a demand draft or a cashier's check? All three of them is accepted to visa office for RPRF.

Yesterday my and my wife's medical report was delivered to Ottowa at the same time, although they were sent from two different country. I remember you mentioned somewhere that LA office usually doesn't do a deep background check. In that case, can I expect to get the PPR by next 1-2 months? What is your gross prediction? My status in USA is good until Mid Feb, 2011. I wish by that time everything will end smoothly.

Good Luck garian4.

Hi Guys,

I am new to this thread. I completed my medicals on October8th and yesterday the medical reports were reached at Ottawa office.

Twilight871, I sent RPRF in the form of Cashier's check along with copy of Medical receipt to Consulate General Los Angeles.

Thanks

It was a money order.

Do not worry, as long as you get the medical request without any other documents request holding the processing of your application with LA, you are almost at the end of the process, no deep background check will be conducted in your case because it is not in Buffalo, and expect to get the PPR within a month.

Hi karsatjaya,

Welcome to the thread. I am also with the LA office.

Did LA request the RPRF with you med letter or did you send it on your own? Was there any other info mentioned in the med letter like interview waived or other doc request?

Thanks.
